oh man. liquid paradise! i had it for the first time recently. on account of the snow. it was so thick. and there were marshmallows. and then a guy on the sidewalk said sometimes you can put rum in it so the next one i tried i did and it was great. a hug in a cup!
( raised to be empathetic but not too empathetic, to grieve but not for long and not on the outside, kaladin often feels alone. everything is painful when condensed into a tight knot in his chest; however, vash encourages him, by speaking of seeing kindness in others, to allow some of it to unravel.
he fears that once he's untangled a few frayed ends, it'll all come undone, and he won't be able to arrange it as before. he's already close to that point, causing him stress that bows his shoulders. but...
but... he wants "a hug in a cup"... so... )
