The storms here sound mild in comparison Highstorms of Roshar come every few days from the origin in the east and are a destructive force It's almost impossible to survive one as you can imagine you'd be sliced up by debris or crushed by boulders lifted by its gales They infuse our spheres with their energy Stormlight I mentioned it the other day

If that can be identified, it may be possible to artificially generate so that you are not bereft of what it is your world offers you.

However, its history matches mine up until a distinct point in the twentieth century, at which point there is significant divergence. Furthermore, initial scans of the planet have revealed a near-identical composition. I would suggest the likelihood of this being my universe at less than 1.46%, though that is a rudimentary calculation at present.
